The Solemn Mass of the Sunday of the Lord's Passion at the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral was presided by the Most Rev. Ernesto A. Salgado, Archbishop of Nueva Segovia.
The Eucharist began in front of the Cathedral with the blessing of palms.
Families came.
The multitudes gathered, like in the time of Jesus when He was welcomed by the people in Jerusalem.
After the blessing of palms, the Gospel and a brief homily by the Archbishop, he led the people into the Church with the invitation - "Let us go forth in peace, praising Jesus our Messiah, as did the crowds who welcomed him to Jerusalem."

i meant to say it was held inside because it was raining..
Thanks for the comment, Lolita. Yes, Fr. Ericson is going to Spain. By now, he must be in his language studies already. I had the pleasure of being at ICST with Fr. Ericson as seminarians and as professors.
Fr. Ericson is real one of a kind - his passion for his craft, history is really deep. And he makes history alive and relevant. The way he writes and talks about matters of history are engaging.
Best wishes, Lolita.
Thanks for following the blog, Emjas.
